Hello Dave,
that sounds interesting. Feel free to get back to me with any questions or house-rules that you might have. |

Claes,
I just downloaded your LoMaR rules set.
They look most interesting. Myself and Dave Schueler are looking for a set of rules for actions against the Barbary Pirates. Perhaps some small miniatures for the maneuver part, then 15mm boats for the mandatory boarding actions! |

Grüß Dich, Claes!
Hab mir gestern alles runtergeladen und angefangen mich durchzuwühlen. Saubere Arbeit, mein Freund. Der Imperator ist zutiefst beeindruckt |

Thank you for all of the hard work you have put into your site and the game materials. They are very well done. It has been a pleasure to look at and I’m particularly interested in your command card approach.
Since I am now trying to finish two Napoleonic armies before I turn 65 next year, I don’t have the time to collect, assemble, and paint the ships even though they are very small. A week ago I discovered some game ships by Wizkids that just pop together and will allow me to try out your rules. I have spent more of the last ten years on game materials, researching, making a large campaign map and assembling my rules than painting my 15mm figures, so I’m feeling the need to put in most of my spare time on that, however I will take a break from the land,1806 to 1810, and see how to command with cards at sea.
Thanks again

A thousand apologies,
I'm a bit slack when it comes to checking e-mail directed to this site's account. I'll reply to your mails as soon as I get home tonight. |

Claes,
I have been trying to contact you through your email address. Not sure if it's still working as I have not recieved a response. Is there a better way to get in contact with you?
I love the game and would also like to tinker with the ship sheets to build specific scenarios.
Thanks. |

That's no problem, as such. However, as I'd like to know that someone is working on the sheets (so that I can pester them for samples ), I'd prefer sending you the blank sheets by mail rather than uploading them. So if you drop me a line, I'll be glad to oblige.
Incidentally, the format they're in is MSPowerPoint. Can you process that? |

I've just downloaded and given your rules a red-through. I have yet to test them in action but I really liked what I read. Just a suggestion : could you include a blank ship form (preferably in a format that is editable rather than pdf) for those that like to tinker with the ship stats.

No, I haven't tried them with the Spanish Main ships, largely because I like the pewter models a lot better.
It shouldn't be a problem at all to use those models for LoMar though, as they're about the same(ish) size as the Peter Pig models. |
